Fire Extinguisher

A Fire Extinguisher carried or on Trolley and operated manually, containing an extinguishing agent that can be expelled under pressure for extinguishing or suppressing of small fires.

As a First line of defense during the initial stage of fire, availability of fire extinguisher is mandatory for all occupancies to extinguish the fire before the fire grows out of control.

A fire extinguisher, or extinguisher, is an active fire protection device used to extinguish or control small fires, often in emergency situations. It is not intended for use on an out-of-control fire, such as one which has reached the ceiling, endangers the user or otherwise requires the expertise of a fire department. Typically, a fire extinguisher consists of a hand-held cylindrical pressure vessel containing an agent which can be discharged to extinguish a fire.

We offer a wide range of fire extinguishers in various types and capacities which is approved by Kite Mark, LPCB, local and other international standards.

We supply and Install both Portable as well as Trolley type extinguishers depending on the applications.

Water Type Fire Extinguisher

A water extinguisher is for use on Class A fires – those involving wood, paper, plastics, coal and fabrics.

Potable Type – 6ltr, 9ltr, 10ltr & 12ltr

Trolley Type – 25ltr, 50ltr, 100ltr, 125ltr & 150ltr

Note: On no account whatsoever should water extinguishers be used for firefighting where electrical equipment live or flammable liquids are involved.

CO2 Fire Extinguisher

A Co2 Fire Extinguisher is most commonly used for Class B flammable liquid fires, including petrol, and fires involving sensitive electrical equipment – because Co2 Fire Extinguishers contain no water and leave no residue.

Portable Type – 2Kg & 5Kg

Trolley Type – 25Kg & 50Kg

Carbon dioxide is a non-conductive and non-corrosive gas used to reduce the amount of oxygen available to the fire. Carbon dioxide is extracted from the atmosphere and stored at high pressure in the liquid state within a fire extinguisher.

Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher

Dry powder extinguishers are the most versatile, and can be used on fires in Class A, B or C – involving flammable liquids, electrical fires, or burning materials like wood or paper. However, if the fire could involve computers, choose residue-free CO2 Fire Extinguishers.

Portable Type – 1Kg, 2Kg, 3kg, 4Kg, 6Kg, 9Kg

Trolley Type – 25Kg, 50Kg & 100Kg

Powder Fire Extinguishers are available in a range of sizes for domestic and industrial situations.

Specialist applications require particular types of dry powder fire extinguishers, such as a Monnex fire extinguisher for fuel storage or motorsport, or L2 fire extinguishers for burning metal fires. Popular for a car extinguisher is the 600g aerosol extinguisher or the 1kg dry powder extinguisher.

Modular Automatic Fire Extinguisher

Fire is a calamity that strikes without any warning and causes an unimaginable havoc. According to a survey conducted, 80% of the most damaging fires occur during night times, weekends or holidays when no one is around. Hence an automatic operation is the only solution for round-the-clock protection against any kind of fire. This fire extinguishers are simple and economical solution for buildings or structures where detection and suppression piped systems prove cumbersome and very expensive.

How Do They Work?

When heat from an uncontrolled fire increases to a pre-set temperature of the unit, the fusible link releases, discharging the extinguishing agent. The release temperature of the extinguisher (fusible link) can be pre-set at works ranging from 57 deg C/68 deg C/79 deg C/93 deg C/140 deg C and so on. They require no external source of energy and it can be operated electrically manually or mechanically for their operation.

Salient Features

  • An Automatic Detection and Suppression System together in a single unit quite unlike any other system available in the market
  • Automatic round-the-clock protection
  • Available in individual units or as a Complete system
  • Automatic, hence no human involvement, reducing the chances of injury and accidents to virtually zero.
  • Proves to be the most economical when compared and no surface re-laying
  • Reusable cylinder as it is not based on aerosol technology. Hence, most economical
  • Non-Freezing & long lasting

Foam Type Fire Extinguisher

AFFF Fire Extinguishers and Foam Fire Extinguishers are two names for the same thing – but be careful, because AFFF extinguishers contain a proportion of water, so they are not recommended for fires where live electricity is involved.

A foam fire extinguisher can be used to fight Class A fires involving wood, paper, textiles, coal or similar materials, as well as Class B flammable liquid fires. That makes them more versatile than water extinguishers, and a lighter and smaller alternative for an equivalent fire.

Potable Type – 6ltr, 9ltr, 10ltr & 12ltr

Trolley Type – 25ltr, 50ltr, 100ltr, 125ltr & 150ltr

Wet Chemical/Kitchen Fire Extinguisher

A chemical fire extinguisher is the right type to fight fires involving cooking oil and fat, making it an essential safeguard in kitchens, food processing plants, retail food outlets and for leisure applications like caravans and barbecues. These wet chemical extinguishers are primarily intended to fight a Class F fire – that’s a cooking oil fire – but can also be used against Class A fires involving combustible solids like wood or paper.

Wet chemical fire extinguishers employ a pressurized solution of alkali salts in water and are used for Class F fires. Its principal application is in kitchens, canteens and food processing areas. Wet Chemical extinguishers can be used on Class A fires involving solid combustibles.

Water Mist Fire Extinguishers

Water Mist Extinguishers discharge a very fine water spray, forming a “curtain of mist” and by removing the oxygen and its fuel source (free radicals) the fire calms and is extinguished. These fire extinguishers use E-Plus Pulsator to tackle nearly all fires quickly and effectively. Non-toxic and safe for discharge in highly populated areas, they can be used in art galleries, care homes, prisons, restaurants and plenty of other places!

Due to the use of demineralized water, water mist fire extinguishers are the most environmentally friendly mixed-risk extinguisher available and don’t cause harm to property or people. They have been tested and approved by BSI and LPCB on classes A & F fires and have passed the electrical conductivity test up to 35kv as proof of their quality. We offer 1, 3 and 6 litre capacities in an all-red finish to suit different requirements.

CLASS D Fire Extinguisher

CLASS D Fire Extinguisher for use in COMBUSTIBLE METAL FIRES

Class D fire extinguishers contains a special blended Sodium Chloride based dry powder extinguishing agent. Heat from the fire causes it to cake and form a crust excluding air and dissipating heat from burning metal. Metal fires involving magnesium, sodium, potassium and sodium-potassium alloys can be successfully extinguished with this extinguisher. There is data showing that zirconium, uranium, titanium, and powdered aluminum fires can be controlled and extinguished with this unique extinguisher.
